He works for the California-based Chaparral Medical Group as its director of neurological surgery, where he treats general neurological and spinal conditions, in addition to complex brain tumors, skull base lesions, and vascular abnormalities. Ali Mesiwala, MD, also performs disk replacements and minimally invasive procedures using medical devices and techniques he has helped develop.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mesiwala has delivered presentations at universities and medical conferences, and he has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed journals.
